Adviced a producer of tiles

Our firm has represented the largest producer of tiles in the Baltic States in a dispute with the leading bank of Lithuania, a branch of Scandinavian bank.

The shareholder of the manufacturer of tiles has applied a claim regarding the credit agreement enabling the bank to acquire control of the company. A permission of the responsible competition institution was required for the implementation of this disputable agreement, but it was not received. This is the first case in private competition enforcement done in the field of concentration control when the Court of general jurisdiction has accepted the final decision regarding the disputable transaction for its contradiction to the rules applicable to concentration control.
