Advised first ever Lithuanian start-up selected by Silicon Valley accelerator Y Combinator

Our Corporate team has advised Lithuanian start-up Turing College on legal matters related to relocation to the United States and preparation of legal structure in order to participate in world-class Silicon Valley accelerator Y Combinator.

Our lawyers, together with colleagues from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, based in California, represented the client and its founders in legal matters related to incorporation of legal entity in the United States, organisation of shareholder structure, arrangements by the shareholders, tailoring of internal procedures and documents to customs of United States, raising capital by Y Combinator and related matters.

Turing College has become the first Lithuanian start-up to be selected by Y Combinator. In the past Y Combinator has invested in such prominent companies as Airbnb, Stripe, Dropbox, Reddit and many more. Being selected to this program is a significant acknowledgment for young companies and a bridge to future success.

Turing College is seeking to build an educational coding institution where all learning processes are fully automated, built on top peer-to-peer learning pedagogy. Turing College is willing to boost the market with skilled and top-notch technology professionals subject to concerns by the largest tech companies in Lithuania.
