Our team advised one of the leading agriculture groups in Lithuania, KG Group, which is engaged in both national and foreign trade regarding preparation and negotiation of financing agreements from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The credit facility shall be used for development of the business of KG Group in the Republic of Belarus.

Our corporate team advised the client in the most important stages of the deal until the signing of the definitive agreements: participated in negotiations, drafted the loan and security documents.

The client expanded the volume of its activity since the obtained financing has been used for investment in businesses in Belarus engaged in the trade of raw animal feed, veterinary drugs, plant protection products, seeds and mineral supplements.

The transaction will allow the client to improve its technology and expand both products’ portfolio and quality. The transaction shall benefit the consumers as the client may provide a wider range of products.
