Advised start-up active in digital education field on investment

Our M&A team has advised Lithuanian start-up Turing College in raising the first round of investment by prominent technology companies in Lithuania and venture capital funds.

We provided legal advice to the company and its founders during drafting rounds of the investment term sheet, investment and shareholders’ agreement as well as coordinated any necessary corporate changes to effectuate the investment.

Turing College is seeking to build an educational coding institution where all learning processes are fully automated, built on top peer-to-peer learning pedagogy which runs on smart software and uses income sharing agreements in their activity to fund the potential talents. Turing College is willing to boost the market with skilled and top-notch technology professionals subject to concerns by the largest tech companies in Lithuania regarding lack of these talents or far too long time period for training of such potential candidates. Our client is also solving the problem of funding the best talents where financial opportunities are not at all times attainable by introducing income sharing agreements as an option for payment for studies.
