Advised the investor in a labour dispute

Our firm has advised the investor of a famous market place in a labour dispute.

After the investor commenced its business activity under a lease of business contract, a significant number of employees claimed that they had been unlawfully dismissed from work. The dispute related to the interpretation of the duty of the employer to hire the employees of a company which had ceased to exist under municipal legislation.

The Court acknowledged that the prescription period of 1 month shall be applied in such event and came to the conclusion that employees had missed the prescription period without justifiable reason.
