The European Economics: Microeconomics & Industrial Organization eJournal Vol 5, Issue 102, June 29, 2011 published the article “Leegin Case: Resale Price Maintenance vs. Consumer Welfare” written by Rimantas Daujotas.

The article focused on a new approach to vertical price fixing, brought up in the Leegin case by the U.S. Supreme Court which triggered various debates and brought about the question as to whether resale price maintenance (RPM) can have severe anticompetitive potential or can it actually also be beneficial to competition.
