Private Antitrust Litigation 2014, from the Getting the Deal Through series was recently published featuring an article written by Ramūnas Audzevičius, Mantas Gudžiūnas and Beata Kozubovska.
The authors contributed to the Lithuanian chapter of the edition with a comprehensive overview of key competition litigation issues. Leading practitioners from 24 jurisdictions worldwide have provided analyses of current developments in private antitrust actions. The authors note that competition enforcement is only in its development stage at the moment in Lithuania. The underdeveloped case law and lack of precedents has resulted in complications of the private competition enforcement process. However, in light of the recent initiatives to adopt new legislative changes some positive impacts for the market should soon be visible.
