Defended client’s rights in a dispute involving the separation of assets

Our team has defended client’s rights in a dispute involving the separation of assets, jointly owned by the debtor and her spouse. The debtor’s spouse argued that he never participated in any business transactions concluded by the debtor and never knew or received any benefits from them. Consequently, he wanted nothing to do with the debts related to such transactions. He even filed for a divorce.

However, when the court, with our help, established that both spouses used the same bank account, it ruled that they had sufficient knowledge about each other’s transactions and benefited from them and, therefore, should be jointly liable for the related debts as well.
