Dispute against the Polish energy concern

Our team has represented co-authors of a patent before appellate instance court in a dispute involving interim measures applied in the process of executing final and binding court’s decision against the Polish energy concern on the remuneration for the economic effect, which the concern received by using the patent.

Legal significance of the case lies within the question of applying maxim of a final decision’s binding power when the debtor is avoiding execution of the decision. The decision in question was issued against the Polish energy concern after 6 years of litigation and the co-authors were awarded 6 million EUR of royalties by the Supreme Court of Lithuania for the period of 1996-2000.
