Exit from investment into joint venture

Our client has relied on Motieka & Audzevičius’ Corporate and M&A lawyers’ advice regarding exiting from a joint venture established together with a major Romanian PET packaging waste company. This joint venture enabled the parties to create a stream of trade of PET packaging waste collected in Lithuania back in 2017.

All transaction documentation was drafted by us, providing all required legal safeties for our client, but not undermining the interests of the counterparty, which led to finalizing all the documents within the shortest possible time what was the main focus in this case.

The transaction required successful cooperation with third parties such as banks and brokers, as well as requiring swift responses in order to meet tight deadlines.

It is noted that the transaction was subject to competition clearance in Serbia and Macedonia. Our corporate team has cooperated with Serbian and Macedonian lawyers in completion of relevant documentation.
