Case concerning attempts to reopen the proceedings by a debtor

Our firm has represented a client in a case concerning attempts to reopen the proceedings by a debtor. In the original case, our client was awarded a debt by the court of first instance with a preliminary ruling.

Vilnius district court verified the preliminary ruling without the defendant’s participation as he did not attend the hearing even though he had been duly informed. The debtor’s request to reopen the proceedings more than half a year after Vilnius district court’s decision was dismissed.
