Energy related dispute

Our team represented a company’s interests in an energy related dispute. A provision regarding the payment schedule in the sale and purchase agreement of electric power between our client and the defendant was modified. After a couple of months the defendant suddenly terminated the contract on the grounds that the claimant allegedly had not paid for the electric power in accordance with the schedule.

Our client initiated legal proceedings against the defendant and applied for interim measures. The company requested the defendant to be placed under an obligation to uphold the contract until the final decision in the case has been made. The court granted the request.
