Litigation concerning the granting of a loan

Our team has represented a private investor in the catering business in a litigation concerning the granting of a loan. The client invested in a restaurant in which it had been agreed that the investment would be returned upon request. However, no payment was received after such request was presented to the debtor. Thus, our team requested the return of the loan along with due interests.

Vilnius Regional Court upheld the claim noting that the investor had made all the necessary steps in pursuing the request for repayment of the loan. The Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the court of first instance.
