Our deal was shortlisted for CEE Deal of the Year 2023

CEE Legal Matters has announced the shortlist for the 2023 CEE Deals of the Year Awards.

Awards have been granted since 2017 to celebrate the transactions, financings, IPOs, and other deals that underpin growth throughout the region, as well as the lawyers and law firms who make them happen.

The shortlisted transactions in the Lithuanian market are:

  • Highland Europe invested in PVcase. The buyer Highland Europe represented by Cobalt and the seller PVCase by Sorainen
  • Ignitis Renewables acquired a wind farm from E Energijos. The buyer Ignitis Renewables represented by Walless and the seller E Energija by Cobalt
  • PVcase acquired Anderson Optimization from Axis Op Holdco. The buyer PVcase represented by Gunderson Dettmer, Sorainen and the seller Axis Op Holdco by Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath, Motieka & Audzevičius.

The winners will be selected by a Final Selection Committee and announced at the annual CEE Deals of the Year Banquet scheduled for April 25, 2024, in Warsaw.

Partner Rokas Jankus has been appointed to the esteemed Country Selection Committee for the 2023 CEE Deals of the Year Awards. As a member of the Country Selection Committee R. Jankus played a key role in evaluating the shortlisted submissions from Lithuania and contributing to the selection of the ultimate winners.
