Represented a major Lithuanian financial services group

Our team represented the client, a major Lithuanian financial services group, in a dispute regarding the alleged illegal transfer of assets by a debtor.

The particular issue under consideration was whether interim measures (property seizure), applied at the request of our client, were lawful. The Court of Appeal considered the appeal of the debtor and agreed with the arguments put forward by our lawyers and ruled that interim measures were indeed lawful, necessary and proportional. This ruling will ensure the likelihood of full restitution in the event of when the case is finally resolved in favour of our client.
