Represented one of the largest agriculture companies

The client was a shareholder of a company which decided to sell its asset to another shareholder, who also happened to be the CEO of the company in question. However, this transaction could have infringed the interests of our client because the assets were worth much more than the amount of money which the other shareholder proposed to pay. The transaction would therefore have been unprofitable and could have damaged the value of the company in which our client was a shareholder.

The case ended in a peaceful settlement agreement in the Court of Appeal, which allowed the client to achieve a desirable result in the case without any further legal costs.
