Representing a leading Russian energy giant

Our team is representing a leading Russian energy giant in a dispute against Lithuanian government.

The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) had rendered an arbitral award in favour of firm’s client which was later filed for enforcement and recognition in Lithuania. However, the Court of Appeal rejected the petition and, subsequently, a cassation claim was filed to the Supreme Court of Lithuania which just recently decided that the case will be examined by the Grand Panel (a panel composed of seven instead of three judges).
