Successfully represented the client at the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration

Our dispute resolution lawyers represented a client, one of the largest Lithuanian companies in the metal processing sector, in an arbitration process.

Our client had entered into a contract requiring the manufacturing and delivery of storage tanks to a buyer in Belgium. A dispute arose when the buyer expressed dissatisfaction with the delayed delivery and refused to pay the last agreed-upon instalment.

Our firm filed a claim against the buyer in the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration for the recovery of the debt to our client, and the arbitration tribunal fully satisfied our claim, awarding not only the entire accumulated debt but also the maximum penalty provided in the contract to the defendant for non-performance, thereby doubling the amount the buyer will have to pay our client.
