Successfully represented the client at the Vilnius Regional Court regarding EUR 2 million debt

Our Dispute Resolution lawyers successfully represented an international manufacturing company in a case concerning the recovery of funds unlawfully misappropriated by one of its employees. The individual had embezzled more than EUR 1.2 million from our client and transferred an additional EUR 500,000 to another company. In order to conceal his activities, he executed the transfers in such a way that unrelated company names and details appeared in the accounting software.

Our team faced an exceptionally challenging task: tracking the employee’s financial transactions, identifying the unlawful transfers to his personal accounts, reviewing all his bank account statements and proving in court that each was illegal. The court granted our entire claim, ordering both the former employee and the other debtor to pay our client over EUR 1.7 million.
