Partner Ramūnas Audzevičius has contributed to the Lithuanian overview for Dispute Resolution 2014: a volume in the Getting the Deal Through series.
The author prepared an analysis of the Lithuanian legal sources regarding the dispute resolution sphere. The volume’s reports are prepared by leading lawyers from 49 jurisdictions worldwide. Their sequential analyses represent the global trends in Dispute Resolution as well as critical insights into contemporary principles, processes, and the emerging range of alternative means of Dispute Resolution. The author notes that recent case law shows that the Lithuanian courts accept ‘modern practices’ in international arbitration along with the addressing of important issues such as the transfer of an arbitration agreement to a third party.
