Receipt of an E-Money Institution license

Our team advised a a developer of complex banking software regarding business development in fintech industry – we advised in the acquisition of an unlimited activity license of an electronic money institution. We assisted the client in the preparation of documents regarding electronic money institution activity and represented it in the supervision agency of the Bank of Lithuania regarding all issues of license issuance.

There are only 6 electronic money institutions with an unlimited activity license currently in the market. After receipt of the electronic money institution license, the client expanded the volume of its activity and is going to engage in the new activity, which is not widely conducted in Lithuania.
