Represented a beverage importer in the dispute with a private person

Our team has represented a leading alcoholic beverage importer in Lithuania in the dispute with a private person.

The private person claimed that bailiff authorities arrested the real estate properties pertaining to the private person without having any grounds to do so; they maintained that a substantial amount of insolvent bank shares existed to cover the debt. However, it was proven that the remedy of distress put on the shares, which in reality had no value owing to the bankruptcy of the bank, was not a limiting factor to put distress on the real estate property too. The private person has filed the appeal, however it was rejected by Kaunas Regional Court.
