Represented a client in two international commercial arbitration proceedings

Our team has represented a client in two international commercial arbitration proceedings under the auspices of Lithuanian Court of Arbitration.

The cases concerned complex international sales transactions involving string contracts, where after failure to negotiate an extension of deadline to supply the goods to the ultimate buyer the claimant sought to shift all the risk pertaining to breach of the contracts onto the client, including contractual penalties and interest. Our team successfully reduced the claim sought and defended the interests of the client.
