Represented a major pharmaceutical company

Our lawyers have represented a major pharmaceutical company in two cases in the Supreme Court of Lithuania.

Both cases were based on actio Pauliana in an insolvency procedure of a pharmacy which is our client’s debtor. Our team pled to annul the contracts made by the former executive of the pharmacy, as they violated the interests of the creditors, as well as required to apply restitution. One of the cases concerned avoidance scheme of payment for creditor created by a former executive, which allowed to embezzle almost 200 000 euros. The Supreme Court of Lithuania ruled to re-examine all the evidence in the court of first instance. The court explained the application of the actio Pauliana and created favourable background to resume the litigation in the court of first instance.
