Represented a Russian bank

Our team has represented a Russian bank regarding the recognition of a foreign court’s judgments and enforcement in the Lithuanian Court of Appeal. The case concerned the recognition and enforcement of a Russian court’s judgments. The judgments are important evidence in a dispute in Vilnius regional court.

The opposing party claimed that the judgments could not be recognized because they infringed international public order. Nevertheless, the carefully constructed arguments of our dispute resolution team led to a favourable resolution of the case for the client – the recognition of the judgments. The recognized judgments will form important evidence in the above-mentioned dispute in Vilnius regional court.
