Represented a subsidiary of a foreign bank

Our team represented a subsidiary of a foreign bank in a dispute with a major real estate company in the Baltic States before Vilnius District Court in a dispute regarding remuneration for services which have allegedly not been provided to the client.

In addition to the main claim, the counterparty has requested an application of interim measures – a seizure of the Client’s building located in Kaunas. Our lawyers appealed the decision and the Court removed a distress. The counterparty launched a further appeal to the Court of Appeals, but received an unfavourable decision. The decision of the Court of Appeals is final thus the property seizure shall remain removed.
