Our arbitration team has successfully represented Serbian state company JP Srbijagas in procedure on additional interim measures. The firm applied for interim measures to secure enforcement of four ICC and VIAC awards in the Republic of Lithuanian against major Lithuanian corporation Arvi.
By its final ruling on interim measures, the court has decided to to apply additional interim measures and to prohibit the decision-makers to take decisions on the issuance of promissory notes by the shareholders; to prohibit the adoption of decisions on the amendment of the articles of association; to prohibit the adoption of any decisions determining the extent and value of the rights and obligations of the companies.
The firm had already secured arrests of the shares of the client’s counterparty Arvi for the value of ~50 EUR million. The firm also successfully represents the client in related actio pauliana proceedings.
