Our firm is representing one of the top schools in Lithuania on a pro bono basis. The dispute concerns a real estate property in the Old Town of Vilnius, which belongs to the Vilnius city municipality and is currently rented by the gymnasium (school).
The owner of several restaurants in Vilnius has filed a claim requesting the court to annul the rental agreement between Vilnius city municipality and the gymnasium and sell the property to him, leading to the possibility of him using the property in the activities of the possessed restaurants.
The claimant required the granting of interim measures against the gymnasium and Vilnius city municipality. However, the courts of the first as well as the appellate instances rejected the claimant’s request following the arguments set forth by our team.
