Represented the co-authors of the patent before Šiauliai Regional Court

Our lawyers has successfully represented the co-authors of the patent before Šiauliai Regional Court in the dispute where co-authors have filed a claim against the Polish energy concern claiming the remuneration for the economic effect, which Orlen allegedly received during the period of 1996-2010 from the use of the patent.

Legal significance of the case is that it is based on the outcome of the earlier case, which has finished successfully for one of the authors of the patent who was awarded the remuneration for the year 1998. After almost 5 years of litigation, co-authors were awarded 7 million EUR of royalties by the Šiauliai Regional Court.
