Dmitrij specializes in the resolution of complex cross-border disputes arising out of shareholder conflicts including majority shareholders’ oppression of minority shareholders, and disputes related to the nationalization of property in the EU and CIS regions. Dmitrij also focuses on other complex cross-border civil and commercial litigation matters, often involving multi-jurisdictional components.
Dmitrij gained experience in international and domestic commercial arbitration under a variety of arbitration rules, including ICC, LCIA, IAC at the BelCCI, and VCCA rules. His practice also encompasses issues related to the recognition and enforcement of the judgments of foreign courts and arbitral awards by EU and CIS-region courts.
Dmitrij is also a lecturer of legal theory at the Mykolas Romeris University and has authored papers on the topics of international commercial arbitration and the multi-jurisdictional aspects of dispute resolution in the EU.
