While leading the team of competent and qualified data protection lawyers of the Motieka & Audzevičius law firm, Martynas focuses on technology law, issues arising from emerging technologies (including artificial intelligence), cloud services agreements, e-commerce, and privacy. He also provides guidance and recommendations on a broad spectrum of commercial and technology issues including outsourcing, technology acquisition, licensing and consultancy services. Martynas is a key contact for any intellectual property and data protection related matters.

A lot of his work also relates to advising clients on a broad range of data protection and data security matters, including such data protection lawyers’ expertise areas as GDPR compliance, international data transfers and internal and consumer-facing policy reviews, privacy audits, as well as dealing with cybersecurity incidents and breaches. Martynas also regularly advises on issues related to behavioral targeting, product compliance, and privacy by design.

In addition, Martynas holds Certified Information Privacy Professional (Europe) (CIPP/E) status and is a member of International Association of Privacy Professionals. Also, he sits at a Panel of Experts for DataGuidance. The knowledge and broad expertise make Martynas a strong and reliable representative in the most complex cases.
