Victory in the dispute between a company and its board member

Our team has successfully represented a client before the Supreme Court of Lithuania. The dispute arose between a company and its board member, who stated that unequal royalties paid by the board‘s members violate the principles of transparency and equality.

The court did not agree with the board‘s member‘s case and upheld the company case, which was based on the provision that in the absence of any established rules and in accordance with the established practice of royalties‘ assignment, the governing bodies may assign them at their own discretion.
