Case against the State Territorial Planning and Construction Inspectorate of Lithuania

Our team has represented a client in a case against the State Territorial Planning and Construction Inspectorate of Lithuania. The inspectorate had brought an action against our client and Vilnius City Municipality in order to annul the building permit for a waste incineration plant. It also demanded the imposition of interim measures which would have temporarily suspended the construction permit.

The dispute was resolved with an agreement signed between the parties. The outcome of the case was influenced by a Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania report which confirmed that the project had been carried out fulfilling the legal requirements which were set out at the time of issuance of the construction permit.
