Our team represented the interests of the former largest Lithuanian air courier company in the Lithuanian Court of Appeal.

The client is claiming over 57.4 million EUR in damages alleging the respondents (international airport in Riga and a Latvian airline company) to have abused the dominant position and to have concluded anticompetitive agreements restricting competition in aviation markets. In order to secure the claim, the court seized property belonging to the respondents worth 57.4 million EUR. The respondent tried to abolish property seizure exceeding the mentioned amount and to oblige the claimant to pay a deposit of approximately 67.6 million EUR. However, the Court of Appeal has dismissed such claims.
