Motieka & Audzevičius associate Justinas Jarusevičius has contributed his latest publication “Lithuania has restrained the unruly horse of public policy” to Kluwer Arbitration Blog.

In the article, Justinas Jarusevičius reviews recent Lithuanian case law development on the application of the New York Convention. Justinas concludes that although Lithuania is a modest player in comparison to the countries with long-lasting arbitration traditions, its recent case law provides meaningful input to the arbitration community in the interpretation of the public policy clause – it guarantees additional efficiency and protection of the investors’ interests.
