Successfully represented the client in white collar case

Our Dispute Resolution team achieved a significant victory for one of the largest road and bridge construction companies in the country, HISK (formerly known as Panevėžio keliai). In a case that has been ongoing since 2017, we represented the client from the pre-trial investigation stage to the issuance of the acquittal verdict by the Panevėžys District Court.

The case was related to suspicions that the company Panevėžio keliai may have violated legal requirements in winning a public procurement tender for approximately EUR 1.5 million worth of maintenance work on the Vilnius–Panevėžys highway.

Our team’s strategy resulted in the Court acquitting Panevėžio keliai and eight other defendants, finding that no crime had been committed.

It’s important to note that the verdict of the Panevėžys District Court is not final and can be appealed.
