Represented the client at the State Data Protection Inspectorate

Our Data Protection team represented the interests of the client operating in the public sector at the State Data Protection Inspectorate. An employee of the company processed data subjects’ data for personal purposes without any legal basis. Because of this data subject lodged a complaint against our client to the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

We presented our client’s case, emphasizing the meticulous procedures in place for handling customers’ data and the comprehensive awareness among employees regarding internal procedures and obligations under the GDPR. Through our diligent efforts, we successfully convinced the State Data Protection Inspectorate that the incident was an isolated occurrence and not indicative of the client’s broader data handling practices. As a result, our client was able to avoid any negative consequences for the actions of the employee.
