Ranked by the Lexology Index in both Arbitration and Commercial Litigation, Denis served as an Honorary Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London for over five years and is a Lecturer at Mykolas Romeris University, where he teaches Investment & Commercial Arbitration and also taught Negotiation. He is also a Tutor on the CIArb’s flagship Global Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration course in Oxford.

He holds a Ph.D. and LLM from Queen Mary University of London, School of International Arbitration. Denis co-edited one of the leading ICSID commentaries – a Practical Commentary to the ICSID Convention, Regulations and Rules, featuring contributions from over 70 prominent arbitration practitioners.
