Own Leasing secured EUR 50 million financing from the Luxembourg-based fund ROSENGARTEN S.À R.L.

Motieka & Audzevičius has acted as legal counsel to UAB Own Leasing in securing EUR 50 million in financing from ROSENGARTEN S.À R.L. under a facility agreement, marking a significant milestone for the company’s growth and expansion in Lithuania and beyond.

The transaction provides Own Leasing with substantial additional capital to scale its financing activities, particularly to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by expanding access to leasing and working capital solutions. Backed by an international financial institution, the investment is expected to unlock new opportunities for Lithuanian businesses, strengthen liquidity in the market, and contribute to the broader development of the non-bank lending sector.

Our Corporate team advised the client throughout the entire transaction process, including negotiation of the facility agreement, and alignment of key commercial and legal terms with international financing standards. The engagement required careful handling of cross-border elements, lender requirements, and regulatory considerations, ensuring a balanced allocation of risks and robust protection of the client’s interests.

Commenting on the transaction, CEO of Own Leasing, Laimonas Belickas, noted: “This is another historic step for our company. This agreement not only opens up broader financing opportunities for businesses but also confirms the competence of our team, the maturity of the company, and provides a strong impetus for further growth. The entry of such an institutional partner elevates Own leasing to a new qualitative level.”
