Our team has represented one of the leading alcoholic beverage importers in Lithuania in the dispute between a debtor of the company, an investment group, and the bailiff.

The bailiff had laid damages from the debtor based on its equity in a foreign country. The debtor argued that the bailiff exceeded its authority due to the fact that the equity comes under a different jurisdiction. However, the court of Kaunas District Court decided that this was within the right of the bailiff.
