Represented Pharnasanta Group in receiving competition clearance to acquire the metrology center

Pharnasanta Group has been awarded with the opportunity to acquire 100% of the shares of one of the oldest companies providing metrology services in Lithuania – Vilniaus metrologijos centras. V

ilniaus metrologijos centras was fully state-owned and just recently placed for privatization by a public tender in which our client has placed the highest winning bid.

Vilniaus metrologijos centras is active for more than 100 years and is currently operating in Lithuania’s five largest cities. Vilniaus metrologijos centras base comprises of more than 1,800 metrology standards and follows national and international standards. Not only do Vilniaus metrologijos centras perform verification, testing and calibration – also is involved in international inter-laboratory comparisons and methodology development.

We have successfully represented the client in the merger control procedures with the Competition Council and received a competition clearance for the transaction.

Our team has also represented the client in a public tender for the privatization of the target for which we have drafted all the required documentation, applications and entered the tender on behalf of the client.

We hope to lead this transaction to successful closing within the upcoming months.
