Advised venture capital fund Inovo Fund III on a Series A investment in the Lithuanian-founded startup Saltz

Our Corporate and M&A lawyers advised venture capital fund Inovo Fund III on its Series A investment in the Lithuanian-founded e-commerce platform Saltz.

The platform connects restaurant chefs with food suppliers across 20 countries. This Series A round was joined by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), venture capital funds Lifeline Ventures and Change Ventures, as well as prominent angel investors including Mantas Mikuckas, co-founder of Vinted, Miki Kuusi, founder of Wolt, several Shopify executives, and other business angels.

Our team conducted a comprehensive legal review of the key transaction documents and worked closely with the client throughout the negotiation and finalisation of the main deal documentation. Particular attention was given to structuring the investment, ensuring robust investor protection mechanisms, and achieving a balanced legal framework that enables the startup to continue its growth and international expansion. As noted by Saltz founder Andrius Šlimas, “this financing will allow us to accelerate our growth, invest further in an even better user experience for both chefs and suppliers, and set higher standards of transparency and efficiency in the food supply sector.”
