Arbitral award enforcement in Serbia

Motieka & Audzevičius, in cooperation with local counsels, has succeeded in ensuring the recognizing of an arbitral award in Serbia. The award had been issued in Lithuania but was disputed by the defendant during the recognition phase in Serbia. The dispute eventually reached the Supreme Court of Serbia, in which jurisdictional issues were raised. However, once the case was referred back to the court of first instance the court recognized it and allowed its enforcement.
