Represented a major wine producer in criminal proceedings

Our team together with Gorodissky & Partners successfully represented a major wine producer in criminal proceedings against a distributor of vast counterfeit produce in the Russian Courts.

The infringer of our client’s trademark was found guilty of distributing large quantities of counterfeit products. The court sentenced him to 1 year and 2 months in prison, as well as ordering him to pay a sizeable fine, and compensating the client for the infringement. Most importantly, the court ordered to destroy all the confiscated counterfeit goods.
