Advised founders of vertical farming business in raising capital

Our Corporate team has advised Leafood Group, UAB and its founders on raising seed capital for the construction and development of one of the largest vertical farms in Europe. The farm is planned to be launched in Vilnius with further expansion in the other Baltic States and Poland.

Shorter delivery periods, clean energy from solar panels, natural fertilizers, extended longevity of greens and other innovations to be included in the farm makes it an exciting project combining many green initiatives and corresponds to global demand for sustainability. The farm will make reduce the dependency on imported greens from Southern Europe and Northern Africa regions. As a result, fresher and closer to final consumer greens will be produced.

Our team advised the target company as well as some of the founders on the structure of the transaction, drafting of shareholders’ agreement, lease agreements, supply and delivery agreements and other operational documentation and deal matters.
