Overview of the Lithuanian jurisdiction in The Merger Control Review

The Merger Control Review has recently released the 5th edition of the publication with the firm’s Partner Giedrius Kolesnikovas and Senior Associate Michail Parchimovič presenting an overview of the Lithuanian jurisdiction.

The authors note that last year did not bring any major changes to this sphere of law. Nevertheless, firms should be vigilant when performing undertakings, as concentration without prior notification is severally punished regardless of whether the completion was restricted or whether it was not due to the deal. There may also be some changes presented this year in regard to the procedure for calculating the combined aggregate income of undertakings.
